Half Cover Extension Tips
Introducing our SwiftTips Half Cover Tips – the perfect solution for those who prefer a glue-on tip without the commitment of full cover tips or sculpting forms. Unlike traditional ABS plastic tips, HONA Half Cover Tips are crafted from soft builder gel, ensuring a more natural feel, improved durability, and effortless soak-off removal.
How to Apply:
- Prep the Natural Nail – Ensure the nail is clean and ready for application.
- Apply a small amount of glue – Place it in the well of the half tip.
- Attach at a 45° Angle – Press the tip onto the free edge to avoid bubbles and air pockets. Hold for approx. 10 seconds until secure.
- Blend the Join – Lightly refine the transition with a 180-grit file and remove dust with acetone.
- Seal with PureBond – Then proceed with PureFoundation or TrueSculpt for the perfect gel overlay.
- For Longer Extensions – We recommend TrueSculpt for additional strength and support.
