ABOUT NICOLA
Hi I’m Nicola and I am you educator for Manchester, (based in South Manchester). I have been in the Beauty and Cosmetics industry for 21 years ago, starting off in makeup then qualifying as a nail tech 8 years ago and the last addition to my skill set was my degree in education and training in 2019.
I have taught in college settings and most recently at an academy, covering all things nails. I am very passionate about education and nails, and I aim to provide you with the best level of knowledge, confidence and expertise to set you forward within your new career.
As industry standards increase and ever evolve I am keen to continually develop my own knowledge and skill so that I can share this with you. I pride myself on providing a welcoming, fun and relaxed environment to learn in where we can go at your own pace to ensure you maximise your knowledge and practical skills.
I will be available beyond your initial training date to provide on going support.
- ABOUT THE VENUE
- COURSES
Training will be based at my private home studio in Heald Green, Cheadle. I offer 1:1 training as well as group sessions with a maximum of 4 students.
A HONA approved lamp will be available for 1:1 sessions, larger groups would need to bring there own.
No model required. The training venue is accessible via all modes of transportation as I am located less than a 10 minute drive from Manchester Airport, Heald Green train station is approx. 10 minute walk away and links to main motorways are close by.
There is ample and secure on street parking outside the venue at all times. Should a hotel be needed for a overnight stay there are plenty within close proximity.
Light refreshments (tea, coffee and snacks) will be provided on the day and facilities to store your lunch. There are local shops and cafes within a 10 minute walk/2 minute drive for lunch if needed. If you have any dietary requirements or allergies please let me know in advance.
Whilst I share any tips and tricks I've learnt over the years to make your start to the industry as smooth as possible. I want to encourage a community with students so even if you decide to work by yourself you'll always have your HONA nail gang at the other end of a facebook group/message.
