When Should You Use TrueBond?
TrueBond can be used at several stages of your treatments:
1. After Prep, Before Base or Builder
Apply a thin layer after your full prep routine and before
• TrueBuild
• TrueFoundation
• TrueSculpt
This boosts adhesion and creates a smooth, reliable base.
2. On Lifted Areas During Infill
If you’ve removed bulk and there’s a small lift line remaining, apply TrueBond over the area and cure. It seals the lifted edge in place so you can infill cleanly.
3. On the Free Edge
Apply to the free edge before capping or go all-in and apply it across the full nail for maximum adhesion.
4. With SwiftTips Full-Cover Extensions
TrueBond plays an essential role in the SwiftTips system. (You can watch the dedicated tutorial for a full breakdown.)
5. Before Colour or Top Coat
For an extra-secure base, you can apply TrueBond over cured builder gel or hard gel before going in with gel polish or top coat.
How Long Do You Cure TrueBond For?
Cure Time: 30 seconds
TrueBond cures quickly and seamlessly, helping you keep treatment times smooth and efficient.

Hello guys and welcome back to another HO NA Tutorial. Today we are gonna go over all things True Bond. So , Stay tuned. True Bond is a hero product in our gel system family, and it has so many uses. So let's jump into some of the ways that you can use this during your treatments. With True Bond being a bond product, the most common use is just after you've done your prep and right before either your base coat or paper layer of build it or hard gel.
And this is just going to add loads of extra adhesion to any of your treatments. That being said, true bond is so much more than just a bonder. I also like to use it on lifted areas. So I've removed the bulk of the lifted product, and as you can see here, there's a little lift line still there, so pop a bit of true bond on top of it.
Cure then for 30 seconds and it just seals it all in. And then you can go in as usual with your normal infill. And here's a little cheeky before and after. And voila, as soon as true bond is applied and [00:01:00] cured, all gone. Another way to use True Bond is just to pop some onto the free edge wherever you're going to cap.
Or you can do what I do and just pop it all over the nail, because why not? You can never have too much adhesion. So I just put it all over the nail and cure it for 30 seconds, and then go in with my infill True Bond is also used with our Swift Tips, which is our full cover gel extensions. So check out that video separately to find out how to use it within that system.
And very last but not least, it can also be used on top of your builder or hard gel after application just for some extra adhesion before color or top coat. I hope you've enjoyed this tutorial. I hope you've learned something, and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to drop us a message.
