Q: What inspired you to become a HONA tech, and how has the brand shaped your nail journey so far?
A: I was i drawn to HONA because of their strong commitment to quality and being hema free. Since becoming a HONA tech i have found my passion and love for nails has grown, they really have became my niche treatment i never thought i would love doing nails so much! The brand has a good community feeling and being part of it has connected me to other nail techs who are passionate about the same things as myself, being able to share ideas & see other nail techs creations helps inspire me and my clients.

Q: What’s the most requested HONA shade or design in your chair right now?
A: The most asked for shade at the moment would be ‘Achieve’, it’s always the most popular in the autumn & is often chosen along side tortie print nails. These are definitely my most requested nails. However mob wife is a close second at the moment as since it’s came out i think nearly all my clients currently are wearing it in one way or another, it’s just gorgeous!

Q: Why did you choose HONA for your clients’ nails?
A: I was looking for a hema free brand to start using at the salon as my clients nail health is a top priority. HONAs hema free products were a no brainer for me after doing my training & testing out the products myself and my clients love them, the colours are so pigmented and last amazing! My clients love looking on HONAs instagram and sending me ideas of which colours they would like next!

Q: If a new client is nervous about trying something different, how do you reassure them HONA is worth it?
A: If a client was nervous about moving over to HONA i always listen to their concerns & answer any questions we have, I would show them the products / colours etc. I also show them photos of other clients nails who have made the switch. By showing clients reviews it really gives people the confidence to try it out, after ive done their nails i would always do a little catch up message in a week or so, this meaning i can ask how they are getting on with their new set.

Q: How does it feel knowing your nail tech uses products that are safer and hypoallergenic?
A; For someone who has sensitive skin and an autoimmune disease which affects the immune system, it definitely feels reassuring and shows that Emma truly cares about the health of her clients’ nails.
Q: Would you recommend HONA nails to friends and what would you tell them?
A: Absolutely - Emma switched me from another brand to HONA and I love it! Never had any issues and lasts a full 4 (sometimes 5) weeks! I definitely recommend for anyone wanting to have strong and healthy looking nails.
Q: Does it make a difference to you that the products your tech is using are British made?
A; It does, as a self-employed girly who runs her own business, it’s nice to know we’re supporting our own!
