HONA 2025 YEAR IN REVIEW

2025 was packed from start to finish! New launches, huge milestones, award wins, HQ moves and so many moments with our incredible community. We moved into our brand new 12,500 sq ft HONA HQ (warehouse, studio and office all under one roof!), welcomed new arrivals like baby Bobbie, and hit 60k Insta followers as the HONA community grew stronger than ever.

On the product side, we refreshed the HONA brand and dropped our biggest ever collections. Aura Lamps, Mob Wife and TrueBuild became instant kit essentials, while Tortie Detail Paint sold out (again). TrueSculpt began making waves globally, and we shipped thousands of tools and systems, helping nail techs level up their kits worldwide.

HONA was named one of the UK’s 200 Fastest Growing Businesses (81/200) and one of the Top 10 Fastest Growing Consumer Product Firms, alongside multiple award wins for innovation, sustainability and small business excellence.

TrueBuild - Our New Innovative Formula 

In 2025 we introduced TrueBuild, our thickest builder gel to date and a fully hypoallergenic option for nail techs who want serious strength without compromise. TrueBuild is a high viscosity builder that gives enhanced control and a rigid, hard wearing finish, while remaining completely HEMA free as well as free from HPMA, IBOA and TPO, so you can work with confidence on clients who prioritise safer systems. It is designed for healthy natural nails that need extra strength, structure or a touch of length and supports strong, sculpted overlays with long lasting durability for both shorter and longer looks.

Brand Refresh - From Pure to True 

In 2025 we also marked a major milestone with our brand refresh – moving from Pure to True and stepping into HONA’s next chapter. Rather than a full rebrand, this was a refinement of how we show up: a clearer, more consistent visual identity and product naming system built around Safer. Stronger. Smarter., so every bottle tells the same story as our mission. The shift to True reflects where HONA is today – a community-led, education-driven brand doubling down on transparency, hypoallergenic innovation and high performance, while staying true to the values that have shaped us from day one.

Nail Tech Spotlights: Our Amazing Community, One Tech at a Time

At HONA, we believe nail techs are the heartbeat of what we do. Without the passion, creativity, and talent from our community, HONA wouldn’t be what it is today. That’s why every month, we shine the spotlight on some of the incredible techs that make our community so special. This year, we’ve highlighted some amazing nail artists and their brilliant work. We can't wait to continue showcasing the talent that keeps us inspired every single day!

Education - The HONA Way

In 2025 we also took a huge step forward with HONA Education, launching our new online learning system to make learning the HONA way more accessible than ever. Our expert led, fully ABT accredited courses bring hypoallergenic, professional nail education straight to your screen, with flexible, learn in your own time modules plus added accessibility through detailed voiceovers and transcripts so more techs can train in a way that works for them.  At the same time, our UK in person educators continued to do what they do best, teaching and championing safer systems in small, supportive classes across the country, helping the next wave of HONA nail techs grow in confidence and skill.

What’s Next for HONA

We’re heading into 2026 with something completely new on the horizon: a range of products we’ve been quietly working on behind the scenes for a long time. We’re not sharing the full story just yet, but if you opened our 2025 Advent Calendar… you’ve already had a small glimpse of what’s coming.
