Why choose nail decals?

Nail art water decals are a fantastic and easy way to add intricate designs to nails. Trim around the chosen design, soak in water for around 8-15 seconds (lukewarm water works best). Then slide off the backing paper onto your nail and seal with a couple of coats of topcoat. it’s super simple!

If using gel polish just wipe off the colour sticky layer, apply, dry and then seal with the gel topcoat. Our designs are super pretty and come in many designs and colours.

HONA stock a huge variety of water decals, including various Animal, Heart, Fun & Floral designs.

    1. Apply any colour polish.
    2. Trim decal to fit.
    3. Pop the decal in water for 15 seconds or use a nail brush to wet the back (paper side) of the decal.
    4. Slide of the backing paper onto your nail and allow to dry.
    5. Dab the decal gently with a paper towel.
    6. Allow to dry thoroughly & coat with topcoat. I always do two thin layers of topcoat over decals.

    Can I use the decals with gel polish?

    All of my decals are chemical resistant and can be used with gel polish.

    How do I remove the decals?

    If you are using them on normal nail varnish, nail polish remover will remove them. If you are using gel, an efile, acetone or normal nail file will remove them.
